Badges

• Reference means maintained by the MCP steering group. Official registry means published to the MCP Registry by its publisher. Community means a GitHub project.
• Install unverified: the runtime was inferred from the repo language. Use the README command.
• Stale: no push in more than 6 months.
• App with MCP feature: a large project (1,000+ stars) that has the tag but doesn't mention MCP in its name or description.

Ranking

Penalties for stale and tagged-app projects, a bonus for verified installs, then log(GitHub stars). Featured listings never change rankings.

Categories

Assigned automatically from keywords in names and descriptions, so mistakes happen. Report a correction.
